ChillOut Carnival Day

All the fun of the fair. It’s Carnival time at ChillOut. Meander through the stalls and markets; savour the smells and tastes of fresh local produce.

There’s music and entertainment galore. Bring your friends, family and loved ones and don’t forget your puppy – enter the dog show, with great prizes. Also, please keep in mind as you plan for the day, that Carnival Day has a no glass policy.

Entertainment lineup

ChillOut Carnival Day 2012 includes two stages so you get a bigger choice of entertainment. Party at the ChillOut main stage, or find nirvana at the ChillOut bar, with undercover seating and its own bar.

Headlining Carnival Day is the incredible Paul Capsis. Paul’s critically acclaimed stage career has earned him a global fan base, and a Helpman Award along the way. Paul’s exclusive performance at Carnival Day promises to be a ChillOut highlight. Sharing the Carnival Day stage are alt-country faves Sal Kimber & the Rollin Wheel. Sal and her wheels have rolled all over the country and will come to a stop here. However if dust and twang ain’t your thang, Boylesque – Direct from the GH in Melbourne – are glossing and glamming their way across the Carnival Day Main stage, to strut it and cut it live. Starring Madame P – Paris Dragqueen, Miss Sir – Todd Patrick, the Divas and the Muscle Marys, Boylesque are beautiful and pitch-bitch perfectly perfect. To top it all off, we’ve got Dallas Dellaforce‘s traditional drag and burlesque performance. It’s going to be a great day!

PLEASE NOTE: There has been a printing error on some printed Carnival Day tickets, incorrectly stating the opening time as 8pm on Sunday 11th March. The CORRECT opening time of Carnival Day is 11am on Sunday 11th March. These tickets are still valid. ChillOut apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Advance purchase tickets to the ChillOut Carnival Day are $16 and are on sale now via Seat Advisor. Tickets will also be available via our retail ticketing outlets closer to the event.

Tickets purchased at the gate are $20 ($16 concession on presentation of a valid concession card).

This event is also included in our special Pride Festival Pass. Get all three events on the one ticket and save.

Tickets purchased online require access to a printer and incur a 55¢ booking fee per ticket.
