ChillOut Street Parade
The annual ChillOut Street Parade is a colourful, memorable and hugely enjoyable highlight of the festival. The parade takes place along Daylesford’s fabulous shopping strip, Vincent St. It features all manner of gloriously festive mobile displays – Dykes on Bikes, marching boys, drag queens lounging in convertibles, classic cars, cheer-leaders, clowns, and floats that, frankly, have to be seen to be disbelieved. A ChillOut favourite. An evening of real country dancing, fun, friendship and laughter – now in the historic Daylesford Town Hall. Join in classic bush dances like the Bullocky’s Ball, Country Bumpkin, Jubilee Jig, and Love ‘Em and Leave ‘Em’. Learn how to strip the willow and perform the classic ‘Virginia Reel’.
