ChillOut wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of our army of volunteers, sponsors and supporters. If you’d like to get involved, here’s how.

Volunteers

Volunteers are ChillOut heroes – they help with crowd management, serve drinks in our bars, provide information to festival-goers, and generally provide the people power that makes ChillOut happen. Volunteers are provided with free entry to events, a certificate of appreciation, and a big thank-you lunch after the festival.

If you can spare a few hours over ChillOut weekend, we can use you. We particularly need volunteers with current RSA (responsible service of alcohol) certificates. We can even provide the RSA training for free. More details for prospective volunteers.

Sponsors and supporters

Being a ChillOut sponsor means being part of the biggest queer pride festival in rural Australia, and reaching thousands of loyal supporters. We have a range of sponsorship opportunities available for the 2012 festival and beyond, and would love to discuss your involvement. Contact us to discuss.

ChillOut supporter packages provide an affordable way for local and community businesses to be part of ChillOut. Supporter packages are available at an affordable price, and include line listings in the ChillOut Festival Guide and this website, window decals for your business and two complimentary passes to the ChillOut Carnival Day.

Carnival Day stallholders

ChillOut Carnival Day is a fantastic opportunity to present your business’ products and services to the thousands who attend this popular event. Stallholder spaces are strictly limited. More details for prospective stallholders.

Event promoters

Want to host a ChillOut festival event? ChillOut works with event promoters to ensure our festival program provides the best possible experience for our patrons while meeting the ChillOut aims and objectives. To discuss hosting an event for the 2012 festival, get in touch.

Street Parade entrants

The ChillOut Street Parade is a highlight of the festival, drawing enthusiastic crowds of locals and visitors for a celebration of queer pride in Daylesford’s main street. It’s a free event that’s fun for the whole family and open to community groups and individuals. More information for parade entrants.

Carnival Day dog show

The popular Carnival Day dog show is open to all canine creatures, great and small. Enter on the day.

ChillOut Committee

ChillOut’s Committee of Management is elected at our AGM each year in August. Members of the committee help with the planning and delivery of the festival, including festival marketing, logistics, entertainment and compliance. We’re always on the lookout for enthusiastic, energetic and team-oriented people to join us. Get in touch if you’d like to discuss.
